I’m Laura Hawker Plouzek and I believe all humans are born artists. We won’t all make a living as artists, of course, but seeking out and creating beauty is an innate part of our existence. I love sharing the total joy that making brings!

I am an artist and a maker who adores bold color. I currently use my talents as a maker of rad and ridiculous bow ties (shaped like scissors, or a haunted house, or sunglasses!), but previously taught high school art and stagecraft in Seattle (Mariner High School) and locally (Torrey Pines High School). I have a BAE in Art Education from Eastern Washington University and 3 kids.
